5 Ingredient Vegan Flourless Brownies

These are the quickest and easiest brownies ever! Moist, delicious, and vegan; So you can have it all! You only need 5 ingredients, and if you wanted to make it even easier and only 3 ingredients, you could leave out the vanilla extract and maca powder.

I do not do much baking… almost none. I hate having to follow such strict directions and measurements, and it’s much harder to bake when you’re vegan.  So this recipe made me super happy!

You can definitely tweak the recipe and add in more nuts or seeds, or perhaps add a carmel drizzle on top. Play around with it and make it the way you like it.  These are pretty quilt free brownies, that stayed moist all week long.

You can use any creamy or chunky nut butter of your choice. I happened to have chunky peanut butter on hand, which turned out nice. If you have creamy nut butter, but want some extra chunkiness to your brownies, add some peanuts, walnuts, sunflower seeds, or even hemp seeds.

I added maca powder because it has such great health benefits, and provides an earthy nutty taste. You can opt to leave it out if you like. Also, the 2 Tbsp of Cocoa powder makes these brownies very rich and fudgy, so if you would like them a little less rich, just reduce the amount of cocoa powder.

Simply melt your peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl, add in the bananas and mash them into the peanut butter. Add in the cocoa powder, maca powder, and vanilla. Mix everything well and pour into a small, well greased baking pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. After taking the brownies out of the oven, I opted to sprinkle pink Himalayan salt on top for nice contrast.

  • 3 Ripe Bananas
  • 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
  • 2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tsp Maca Powder

  1. These sound delicious! I’ve made cookies before that were mostly just peanut butter and banana and they were good! I bet these are even better! I will save the recipe to try!
